Love for Natural Soaps

Eating healthy has made me realize that in addition to keeping ones insides healthy, one must keep the outside healthy as well. One way of keeping myself healthy on the outside is by using natural soaps. I've recently purchased a number of soaps from two different occasions-- Markets @ Jaya One 9 and Tropical Spice Garden @ Penang. Brands such as Bisou bonbon, Natural Origins etc is really good. I've just finished my first bar of soap, handmade by Bisou bonbon. I loved it! But I'm quite sad that it had only lasted me for about 20 days, showering twice a day. I wish I had more. Natural soaps are costly compared to commercially bought, where you can normally buy three bars for less than RM5.

I consider natural soaps to only contain ingredients that I can actually understand, the less chemicals the better.

This is the first bar of soap from Bisou bonbon that I've used and Finished. It helps with exfoliating and removal of dead skin cells. If I could buy this again, I would. A great product!

I was told that this was good for sensitive skin or if you have allergies. Also, it can help with whitening your skin as well. I just love the fact that it has goats milk.

My Natural Cocoa Butter and Clove Spice Soap & Coconut Conditioner bought at the gift shop at the Tropical Spice Garden in Batu Ferringhi, Penang.

Among all the spiced soap they sold at Tropical Spice Garden, I love this smell the most. They have other spiced soap such as ginger, lemongrass etc

Once I've finished with this one, I feel like buying the whole set!

One of the best conditioners that I have ever used in my life. I regret I didn't buy more and I also didn't buy the lemon shampoo as well.

Prior to the soaps above, I had been using the 909 Soap for 6 months now. It costs about RM3++ for a set of 3. And lasts exactly a month each. It has less ingredients as compared to the other soaps sold in Guardian or Watson or Jusco etc. I bought these at a little grocery store called Greenway in Centerpoint, Bandar Utama. I wouldn't mind using this again when all of my soaps are finished.

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Water, Sodium Hydoxide, Glycerine, Lavender Oil, Camphor Oil, Sodium Silicate, Chlorophyll Green.

8 ingredients. You would notice that a lot of soap would contain double the amount of ingredients, even more if the soap is in liquid form.
I hope that one day I can achieve feeling pretty by using less products than what I'm using now.
I'm changing little by little to live healthier, I'm not perfect in what I do, but its better than nothing.
