I made my first smoothie yesterday, it was such a failure! But a nice lesson for me. I just added whatever I could find that was mine from the refridgerator. I had zuchinni, half a plum, some blueberries, oranges and half a frozen grapefruit. My 'recipe' was supposed to include an orange but I exchanged it with my frozen grapefruit because I didn't know what to do with it.
Even though grapefruit has a lot of benefits, but for me it isn't the best ingredient to add to a smoothie. It tasted bitter and didn't make my smoothie taste very pleasant. Should have just used the orange.
Anyways! I will blog smoothie #2 after I've made it :)
