Last Friday, my class went to a trip to Kuala Selangor. The main reason for this trip was to watch fireflies at night. After lunch, everyone boarded the bus to the trip. It was air conditioned and very comfortable. Everyone was excited,Kate even brought us berry muffins! Which was very nice of her :3
So the trip to Kuala Selangor from Bandar Utama was an hour plus. Our first destination was the Kuala Selangor Nature Park. We walked through the forest to see the animals and mangrove trees for about an hour.We didn't see a lot of animals, only a few monkeys, Mudskippers and a biawak. Then next we went to Bukit Melawati. We had to walk up the hill for about 15 minutes. The view was soo nice and we could feel abit of history in the air.
Dinner time! :D
The seafood was dopeeeee. Butter prawns, black pepper crabs and more. Really delicious and really really filling *sigh* it was great. Everyone had fun during dinner too. I love how my class is so close. Those who didn't get to make it really missed something. Especially the fireflies part. That was our last activity, and it made the day worth it so much. Because the fireflies look like the lights on Christmas tree. We took a boat to where the Berembang Trees grew alongside the river, which was the habitat for the fireflies, and saw as they kelip-kelip their little lights.
All I can say, is that it was magic.
